Harlech Castle

Amazingly Harlech Castle was built in just 12 years, from 1283 to 1295 by an army of skilled craftsmen & labourers and cost £8,190.  The castle consists of two rings of walls and towers with an immensely strong east gatehouse.  The nation’s unofficial anthem ‘Men of Harlech’ which is loved by rugby fans and regimental bands is said to describe the siege which took place in Harlech during the War of the Roses.  Harlech castle is a World Heritage Site.  For opening times and admission fees visit Harlech Castle

Check-in is from 15.30 – 18.30 unless by prior arrangement. 

Check out is by 10.30

Children are welcome over the age of 10 years old.

In the event of a cancellation of less than one weeks notice or in the case of a no show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Should your visit be cut short, for whatever reason, it is normal policy to charge for the length of stay originally booked. Every effort would be made to re-let the room and if this occurred after your departure, you would be refunded accordingly.
